Health limits for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) are
350 µg/m3 (1 hr mean), and
125 µg/m3 (24 hr mean), and alarm level is set at
500 µg/m3 (3 hr mean), acc. to
Icelandic Directive 920/2016.

The Last few Days (Síðustu dagar)
The first graph shows the concentration of Sulfur Dioxide from all the
monitoring stations versus time over past three days.
This graph shows if and when some stations observed increased levels
of SO2.
The graphs below show the concentration for each monitoring station
versus time. On the left, the observed level at the highest temporal
resolution (10 min or 1 hr) for the past three days, and on the right,
the 24 hr running average versus time over the past two weeks. The
timing of the 24 hr average is set at the end of the averaging interval.
The Whole Eruption (Allt gosið)
The first graph shows the concentration of Sulfur Dioxide from all the
monitoring stations versus time over the whole eruption of Fagradalseldar II,
since 3 August 2022. This graph shows if and when some stations observed
increased levels of SO2.
